sheet-steel covering and specially designed

5730E Mini-Tower
Part of the Hitachi Freedom 5700E offerings, the 5730E
Mini-Tower is designed for high performance and throughput. It's ideal
for department or workgroup environments, Web sites, or workstations
with higher storage I/O processing needs and lower capacity
requirements. The free-standing 5730E holds up to five disks (with an
optional hot standby drive), a second controller, and cache memory of
up to 256MB per controller (or 512MB per system).

5742E/5744E Rack-Mount
The 5742E and 5744E are part of the Hitachi Freedom 5700E
offerings. Designed to mount in an industry-standard 19-inch
rack, these units individually attach to the host or to other
5700E systems. The 5742E holds up to ten active disk drives;
the 5744E holds up to twenty. Both models support an optional hot
standby drive and two controllers, each with as much as 256MB of
cache (for a total of 512MB). All components are hot-pluggable.
Fully redundant power is standard on the 5744E and optional on the
5742E. The 5744E also provides optional dual input power. These
rack-mount models are ideal for Web sites and for department or
workgroup environments.

5750E Tower
The largest model in the Hitachi Freedom 5700E
offerings, the 5750E Tower holds up to twenty active disk
drives. It also accommodates an optional twenty-first hot standby drive, two
controllers (each with a 256MB cache capacity), and N+1 power supplies.
All of these components are hot-pluggable. Ideal for Web sites and
department or workgroup environments,
the 5750E Tower combines maximum capacity with configuration
flexibility in a compact, self-contained design.
