Starting with the first chassis configured as the Master Chassis with RAID Controller(s) and up to 9 Hot Swap Disks, further expansion is easily achieved by cascading additional Legacy UDSS Twelve Bay Expansion Chassis.


Start with 6 Hot Swappable Drive Bay Tower or	14 Bay Hot Swappable Drive Bay Tower	and expand to 22 Drive Bays Rack Mounted	then onto 30 Drive Bays Rack Mounted	then onto 38 Drive Bays Rack Mounted	then onto 46 Drive Bays Rack Mounted	and finally 54 Drive Bays Rack Mounted

UDSS RAID Subsystems are the most scalable RAID Subsystems available. Start from a single chassis with 9GB of disk storage and add more disk capacity as your needs increase. When expanded to the maximum configuration of 9 chassis, 18 Hot Swap Power Supplies are used for proper power stability. With 4 Hot Swap Fans per chassis, the 9 chassis configuration will use 36 Hot Swap Fans for proper cooling of disks with ever increasing capacity, spindle rate and heat dissipation.
