Advanced Super-AIT Library Family

There is one library model based on Super-AIT technology available - the TLS-5000 series. The TLS-5000 answers the needs and provides Super-AIT tape automation for backup, archive, HSM and storage management applications.

These libraries are supported by all major software suppliers, as well, the units can be set to emulate other tape libraries to ensure compatibility with existing applications and environments.

Belts and pulleys have been eliminated within the mechanisms and have been replaced with brushless DC motors and a closed-loop motion control system to ensure the ultimate in library reliability.

TLS-5000 Series




• The TLS-5000 Super-AIT series comprises four models ranging from 33 to 264 tape slots and from 1 to 8 drives.
  Per library capacities run up to 343 Terabytes for the 264-slot TLS58264 with SAIT-1 drives.
